I recently had the opportunity to attend the TCN Real Estate Services Worldwide conference in Calgary, Canada, focused on staying on top of commercial real estate and best practices. But it wasn’t just the information that stood out—it was the mindset that makes a lasting impact.

One of the most inspiring moments came from Jessica Janzen , who shared her story of unimaginable loss—the passing of her one-year-old son. In the face of this tragedy, she chose not just to survive but to thrive. Jessica spoke about how she brought joy to her son in his final days, shifting her mindset to one of purpose and strength. She chose to make an impact in the world by pursuing a cure and testing for the illness that took her child.
